Achieving a comfortable bite isn’t something we leave to chance. It’s one of the reasons we use a structured Two-Bridge Treatment Protocol.
Rather than rushing straight to your final teeth, you’ll first receive a fixed set of provisional “test drive teeth”. This gives you time to eat, speak and adjust to your new smile while allowing our clinical and laboratory teams to assess your bite, comfort and function.
Any refinements can be made before your final teeth are designed and crafted by our in-house laboratory team here in Australia.
Our goal is simple: to ensure your final teeth have been carefully refined to provide the best possible fit, function and comfort for your individual needs.
Although your procedure is typically completed within around 1–3 hours, you’ll usually spend most of the day with us.
While you’re in surgery, our clinical and in-house laboratory teams are preparing and refining your provisional “test drive teeth” so your new teeth are typically fitted on the same day as your surgery or, in most cases, within 24 hours.
Because treatment is performed under general anaesthetic, you’ll need someone to drive you home afterwards and stay with you for the remainder of the day. Before you leave, our team will make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable recovery, including post-operative instructions and any prescribed medications.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. The number of implants recommended depends on your individual anatomy, bone quality and treatment requirements.
At Fixed Teeth Australia, every treatment plan is personalised. Using advanced CBCT imaging and digital treatment planning, our clinicians carefully assess your jawbone and oral health before recommending the number and position of implants best suited to your situation.
For some patients this may be four implants per jaw, while others may benefit from five, six or additional implants as part of their treatment plan.
