When Laurence came to Fixed Teeth Australia, he had already tried both a full upper denture and a partial lower denture – but neither gave him the comfort or function he needed, especially when it came to tasting food, stability, and overall comfort.
The Challenge:
His full upper denture made it difficult to properly taste and enjoy food, and it often shifted during use. On the lower arch, his remaining natural teeth were failing, and his partial denture offered little stability. While away on holiday, dental issues forced him to cut his trip short. Treatment Plan:
From a clinical perspective, Laurence was an excellent candidate for All-Fixed Full Mouth Dental Implants on both arches. Soft bone in certain areas meant lower torque on some implants, but with careful planning and precision placement, stability and function could be achieved. Our aim was to restore his smile and allow him to fully taste and enjoy his food again – without movement or discomfort.
